The Coronavirus COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Rapid Test (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG and IgM) to COVID-19 virus in whole blood, serum, or plasma.

The Coronavirus COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Rapid Test is for detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to COVID-19 virus. Anti-human IgG and anti-ligand are separately coated in the test line region 1 and region 2. During testing, the specimen reacts with COVID-19 antigen-coated particles in the test strip.

The mixture then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and reacts with the anti-human IgG and the ligand anti-human IgM. COVID-19 IgG or IgM antibodies, if present in the specimen, reacts with the anti-human IgG in region 1 or the ligand anti-human IgM. The complex is captured and forming a colored line in the Test line region 1 or 2.
